Custom Business Facebook Cover Photo for SarahTheCakeLady.com
It’s a bank holiday weekend end here in Ireland and while I should be taking a break from designing, I’ve been putting together a custom business Facebook cover photo for SarahTheCakeLady.com.
For Business Facebook cover photos, I think it’s really important to get across what service you provide. Clients can often flick quickly to and away from your page, so it’s important they can instantly get a feel for what you do within a few moments. In the last blog post here, I showed you the 2 final logo designs that Sarah was choosing between. She chose no.1, which was my favourite! To work the logo into the Facebook cover photo, I wanted to create an image that would immediately show Sarah’s customers that she was a professional baker.
So I set up a scene on my kitchen counter with flour, rolling pins, a wooden spoon, some fresh eggs and some icing nozzles. I left a nice big amount of copy space, so that I could add Sarah’s logo and services in post production. Below is a super quick picture from my Iphone just to show you the set-up. (Lighting etc. not set-up for final shot here. )
I then commissoned alan from AlanMooney.ie to take some photos. We played around with the light and composition. After taking the final photo, I brought it into Illustrator. I flipped the image so the utensils would be on the right-hand side so to prevent the smaller profile image encroaching on that section of the image. I added the logo and finally the text.
What do you think?
